FROM PROJECT DESIGN TO PUBLICATION

Request a meeting

The SNP&SEQ Technology Platform offers individual project meetings, free of charge, to discuss the optimal genotyping or sequencing strategy for your project. You can easily request a meeting through the NGI Order portal.

Submit a project description

When the project design is ready you may submit your project description at the NGI Order portal. The project setup will then be evaluated and after you recieved a confirmation, a project code and a quotation from us you will be able to submit your samples.

Await sequencing results

When the samples arrive they will go through a quality check to make sure they reach the quality standard necessary for sequencing. Once the samples pass the quality check, they will enter the production queue and library preparation (if requested) and sequencing will proceed according to your project design.

Start analyzing the data

After sequencing the raw data will be processed into fastq format. The yield and quality of the data is monitored using various QC steps to make sure the data delivered meet our high standards. The data is subsequently made available to you on a secure delivery resource hosted by SNIC-UPPMAX.

Write article and publish

We are happy to provide you with information on the lab procedures and data processing for the Materials & Methods section for your manuscript. Please remember to mention the SNP&SEQ Technology Platform in the acknowledgements of your manuscript and notify us when the paper has been submitted and/or accepted.

The SNP&SEQ Technology platform is very proud to have contributed to nearly 500 peer-reviewed published articles. The registration of articles is an important tool to monitor the quality of our work and to demonstrate a positive impact on Swedish research, and is the basis for decisions by our funders regarding our continued funding of operations.
