Our new iSEQ has arrived
The SNP&SEQ Technology Platform is happy to inform that we now have a new instrument at our platform. The iSEQ is currently being installed at the platform.
This instrument will be the smallest instrument offered at our sequencing service. Producing only a mere 4 million reads and a maximum of 1.2Gb of data, thus making the instrument suitable for smaller projects like pilot studies, and metagenomiocs and amplicon sequencing.
During the summer and beginning of the fall, the system will be validated and we aim to accept projects during late Q4 2018.
You can read more about the iSEQ system at Illuminas website.
For questions about the instrument and our services, please e-mail us at email@example.com.
